This project tasked the team to develop a business productivity app for Photon. Photon’s business structure required accountability on all aspects of a project’s maturation. Our off-shore team created a first iteration that missed the mark on requirements but was a good base for the Chicago team to reassess user needs, approaches, roles, and accountability for all requirements.

The Diners Club Travel tools app was a tool created to serve Diners Club cardholders more efficiently as they travel. This tool assists users in accessing over 1000 select airport lounges and exploring city guides around the world.

Users can locate an airport lounge closest to them to relax and indulge before their next travel. Users could also connect to 45 million wi-fi hotspots in more than 200 countries around the world. Users can also search for rewards and world-class experiences during their travels as well as where they live. Privileges include dining, hotels, shopping, and entertainment.

Personalized Creative was an internal and customer-facing project focusing on simplifying ad placement variations for target audiences. Wires and prototypes were created for users to have the ability to personalize, upload, map, or create new styles and sizes that update in live time to streamline ad placement creation and uploading.

Dr. Scholls Motion Trak was a prototype created to present to the prospective client Dr. Scholls. Dr. Scholls was launching a new product and I was tasked with creating an innovative concept app to showcase the tech and UI and thought process Photon Infotech could deliver. This was created in 5 days on the fly. I was forced to skip wires and directly attack the prototype.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, this workflow was created for internal users on the publisher team at Epsilon. The team desired an innovative way to design, modify, and create future scheduled push notifications for customers and clients. Fostering simplicity and creativity, wireframed solutions presented the perfect tool for the team.

FTD Virtual Florist was an innovation of necessity to decrease the drop-off rate of new and unique users. Through Session Cam, we were able to determine which demographic users were dropping off due to fatigue, confusion, and product availability. The solution was simple. Create an engaging wizard experience to guide the user to the perfect bouquet or gift. Upon creating a POC, I built an MVP that uncovered several value-adds to explore. The Virtual Florist prototype led to explorations of user subscriptions to create a “set-it-and-forget-it” ease of use.

FTD Reminders needed updating as FTD moved from its legacy site to a new design. In post-cart checkout reminders were a valuable tool for yearly reoccurring purchases. The redesign of reminders led to many updates and innovations throughout FTD.com including Virtual Florist.

The FTD PDP (Product Detail Page) was created to ease user pains and exhaustion. Through user research (session cam and feedback) it was discovered that users would make their way through the purchasing process only to discover their selected SKU was unavailable to the zip code entered in the cart. To ultimately alleviate user fatigue and drop rate, we conceived a zipcode wall upon selection of their SKU. This avoided further progression in the purchasing process and allowed users to forgo meaningless steps and user fatigue.

The Extended Stay America App was a new business app created for acquisition. The simplified process of reserving a room and added functionality had stakeholders thrilled with the concept. It is currently available for download.

I was tasked with creating UX and the UI for FTD’s and ProFlowers Customer Service pages. The goal was to have the pages be cohesive to each brand standards and easy navigation for the user’s needs. This lead to the the revision of the “Affiliate Program” pages below as well.

The Walgreens Smoking Cessation pages were created for walgreens.com in the Health Info & Services tab under Health Answers / Lifestyle. These pages were created to help users successfully stop smoking by motivating and offering a smoking cessation plan for the users personal smoking habit. Users have the ability to view the financial burden of smoking, the affects of smoking and create a personalized quit plan. 

Alphega Pharmacy is a leading network of independent pharmacists in Europe. My role was to create an associate facing Android (Nexus 9) app with high usability. The wireframe was created to focus heavily on 3 main features. First, a sleek login process with a PIN option for returning users to select associates. Then, a dashboard home screen to allow users to easily navigate associate goals and tasks with a tap. Finally, the hamburger menu option to navigate the app with extreme ease. The Alphega Pharmacy AFA is a simple to use tool that allows associates to drill down only a few levels to complete their assigned tasks, view goals and make SOP's simplified. 

These responsive splash pages were created for Account Central informing Capital One Discover and American Express card holders their card will be transitioning to a Capital One Platinum Mastercard. I wanted to calm users, answer questions and inform about the transition. The simple informative design thrilled stakeholders. 

Menards Hardware Store online application was a responsive application project to simplify the users experience. I first created a basic mobile wireframe system that was adopted for all PLCC (Private Label Credit Card) Partnerships. The project was then divided and I was tasked with creating the desktop application and worked closely with the team to create a fluid and cohesive responsive experience. 

GMC Add/ Edit/ Manage Screens were created to update Business Mangers administrative permissions for Authorized Users. Updated functionality to meet and in some instances, exceed industry standards. 

Acquisition piece presented to demonstrate Capital One's partnership capabilities. Nordstrom was delighted and surprised to see this level of work from a financial institution. 

Nordstrom Rack Mobile Checkout app was created to ease in store customer waiting and line length. In store research discovered lost sales and customer aggravation due to excessive guest lines and slow service. The app was created around the persona of "Amy Inspirational". Amy is an inspirational shopper who is still trying to establish her career. She is college-educated and working full-time while trying to balance household necessities with luxury items for her wardrobe. She relies heavily on technology and friends advice. Overall, Amy guided the designs to a streamlined checkout experience.                          

The Mobile Checkout App was presented to Nordstrom Rack stakeholders and was very well received. 

High School Cube app, now "The Cube" is a desktop and mobile application allow High School students, parents and teachers post, view and share videos and comments about local high school sports. I was tasked with creating wires and first iterations of concept and flow. 

Chicago Sun-Times Sports "City's Best Sports" commercial aired on Comcast SportsNet during the 2013 53rd Annual Chicago Sun-Times/BPA Beat the Champions Contest.

The commercial is scheduled to air several more times in 2014.

Concepted and Art Directed Chicago Sun-Times spots aired on ABC at 10:30 pm CST. The goal was simple. Create high impact visuals of CST sports, politics and journalism while delivering a simple message to pick up your copy today.
